Cookie and analytics choices
This page is about the sign-up pages of MediFlow: the start page, the prices and the sign-up form. It tells you what we measure if you say yes, what we never measure, who receives it, how long it is kept, and how to change your mind. You choose; the site works the same either way.
Right now: you have not chosen yet, so nothing is measured.
If you accept, we record only the parts you allow
- Which of the three pages you open (the start page, the prices, the sign-up form) and on which day.
- How far you get: whether you open the form, continue past step 1 and create an account. Never what you typed.
- Where you came from, as one short label: the name of the website that sent you, or the campaign word in the link you followed.
- Roughly where you are, only if you allow it: the country, state and city our own servers read from your connection, and whether your screen is a phone, a tablet or a computer. Never your street, your coordinates or your internet address.
- A random code made in your browser when you accept all or choose parts. It is not your name, phone number or email, and it is not made from anything about you. It lets us see that these steps belong to one visitor and count that visitor once.
- Where you click or tap and how far down the page you scroll, on those three pages. A click is kept only as a place on the page (a twentieth of its width and a fiftieth of its height), whether it was on a link or a button, and whether your screen is a phone, a tablet or a desktop size. It goes straight into a running count with no visitor code, so it cannot be traced back to you.
Who receives it
- Only MediFlow's own records receive these. No analytics service, advertising service or tool that records your screen receives anything about your visit.
- The sign-up form also uses Google reCAPTCHA to stop automated sign-ups. That is separate from this choice and is not changed by it.
What we never measure
- Anything you type: your name, email, password, hospital name or address.
- The words or pictures on the page, or what you click as words: only a place on the page and whether it was a link or a button.
- A recording, a screenshot or a replay of your visit, the keys you press, or the path your pointer takes.
- Clicks and scrolling from a browser that sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, even after you accept.
- Card or payment details. The sign-up pages do not take any.
- Pages other than those three, and the hospital sign-in pages.
- Your internet address, or the text your browser sends about itself, in our own records: only a place and a phone, tablet or computer label are kept.
A plain tally, whatever you choose
Whatever you choose, our server keeps a tally of how many times each step happened that day and from which kind of source. A tally has no code and no person in it, so it cannot be traced to you.
Why
To see where people stop while signing up, and to fix those pages. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not join it to your name or email.
How long it is kept
- Our records of an accepted visit, with its place, are deleted after 13 months. We keep plain daily totals with no code in them, for ever.
- The click and scroll counts are deleted after 13 months too.
- Your choice and your visitor code are kept in your browser for 6 months. After that we ask again.
Change your mind
You can withdraw or narrow your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it: press Reject or Choose below, or on the banner. We stop at once and delete our records tied to your visitor code. The click and scroll counts hold no code, so they cannot be traced to you and there is nothing of yours in them to delete; they are plain totals.
Your rights and how to complain
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, or complain, through the Talk to us link at the bottom of this page. If we do not settle it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
These pages are for people who run hospitals. They are not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly measure children.
